Have been looking for the best part of the day for a code for my Becker. I lost the code when I replaced the battery. Have paid money! Small amounts (2.99+vat)! For codes that did not work! Have used many other calcs, and been on too many scummy forums.
When I had nearly given up I found your posting on this sparkling forum! So I am extremely grateful for that helpful link.many thanx!!!! Cheers dears!! And the strange thing is it works better than it did before, it now searches for radio stations by name, v strange, though I do not have the instruction manual so dont really know what all the functions are.
I disconnected the battery on my 1998 S320 and then had the CODE issue presented. After giving my VIN to two dealers and being given the same five digit code.which did not work, I was confronted with the fact that my installed radio was not the car's original. I pulled the radio and obtained the Becker model number and serial number which I entered into this free Lithuanian website. The radio works!!
Just some free useful info to pass onto others! I just tried this site for a Becker 1492. Serial # R116255 and it wont let me put in the the entire sequence of model # plus serial # it wont allow be to enter the last two digits. Am I doing something wrong?

Just some free useful info to pass onto others! Yes thank you for the site Was helpful in getting the code for the stock radio in my 92 500SL to help sell it I upgraded to a modern radio so I could use USB and also have pre-outs to hook up an amp and small subwoofer.
Just do a net search for plenty of sites offer a paid service to give you the info. You will of course have to supply any serial numbers, and the model/type. I went to a local Citroen garage and asked about my own radio code, (and the radio was still working!,) they said t hey could tell me but it would cost me twelve pounds (GBP)!!!
Shame they did not have the same system on domestic colour televisions and video recorders, it might reduce the level of house burglaries?
